Somnath Nandu Mali is a resident of Sarkoli, Pandarpur tehsil. Somnath completed his education at a rural school. The journey from government schools to ISRO has been decided in a number of conflicting situations. His parents were working in the fields to educate their son Somnath. Somnath has recently been selected as a senior scientist at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He is the only contestant in Maharashtra. Who has been nominated for this space center.
