Patna: The Bihar Assembly elections are set to begin on October 29. This is the first largest election in the world among the corona epidemics. In the current assembly election, however, some issues will affect voting and election results. Employment in Bihar is very low. Bihar has a low employment rate due to population growth and low industrialization. So millions of people are moving to different parts of the country for employment. However, the return of migrant workers due to the lockdown has complicated the situation. In such a situation, various political parties will campaign on the basis of recruitment issues and try to entice voters. Various parties have begun to promise employment. RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav said he would allow one million jobs in the first cabinet meeting if he comes to power in Bihar. Extreme levels of flood danger were announced in Bihar. As of August, 26 people had been killed in floods in Bihar. More than 43.72 lakh people have been affected in 14 northeastern districts. Nitish’s role in flood management is commendable. During the RJD, the floods were not part of the political agenda of the 1980s. But the current election has a part of the flood election agenda. About 3 million migrant workers have come to Bihar from different states during the Lockdown. Elections are also in the festive season. More workers will also return home for Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhattisgarh Puja. So in view of the various environmental conditions, these voters will also affect the voting results. The Karona epidemic is another challenge.
