Bhubaneswar: Election trumpets for Bajila Baleshwar Sadar and Tirthol Assembly constituencies. The by-elections for the two seats will be held on November 3. The announcement was made today. The deadline for submission of nominations is October 14, with nominations starting today. Nominations have been verified on October 18 and deadlines have been set for October 16. The polls are set to take place on November 10 with the counting of votes after the polls are underway. Was reviewed yesterday. State Chief Electoral Officer Sushil Kumar Lohani held detailed discussions with the Baleshwar and Jagatsinghpur district magistrates through video conferencing.From the first day to the fifth day of filing of nominations, i.e. by October 14, voters of this class have been asked to apply to the relevant election officials through Form 12 (d) for the postal ballot. From October 21 to November 1, specially recruited polling officers will provide postal ballots at the address given by the person involved in the house. After all the voters have cast their ballots in complete secrecy, the postal ballot will be returned to the polling station in a sealed envelope. The entire process will be completed a day before the scheduled voting day, the Chief Electoral Officer said.
