BALESWAR: BJP candidate Manas Kumar Dutt today filed his candidature for the Balasore constituency. Maa Premlata Dutt, Union Minister and Balasore MP Pratap Chandra Sadangi were present at the event. He laid a wreath at the photo of the late Dutt and begged for blessings from his mother, teacher and senior leaders of the party.The march, led by Union Minister Shri Sadangi, then proceeded to the sub-district magistrate’s office. Opposition leader Pradeep Kumar Nayak, Leader of the Opposition Vishnu Charan Sethi, District President Umakant Mohapatra, Publicity Committee Chairman Raghunath Mohanty, Chief Whip Mohan Majhi, MLA Sukant Nayak, State Krishak Morcha President Pradeep Purohit, among others, were present. Mahila Morcha president Smriti Patnaik, state secretary Sipra Vajpayee, state secretary Tonkadhar Tripathi, state spokesperson Satyabrata Panda, former minister Padmalochan Panda, former MLA Govind Das, state executive member Shubhkar Mohapatra, among others. According to Covid’s rule, most of the candidates were not allowed in, and only their supporters and supporters went with Manas.
