New Delhi: It is estimated that 50 per cent of Indians will be affected by coronation by next February. The comment was made by a member of the Central Government-appointed Expert Committee on Corona. According to members, it will come under control after 50 per cent of Indian crowns are infected. Corona infections in the country have been declining since mid-September.The country now has more than 7.5 million infected people. “According to our mathematical calculations, 30 per cent of the people in the country are already infected with the coronavirus,” said Manindra Agrawal, a member of the expert committee and a professor at IIT Kanpur. Antibodies have been found in these infected people. The committee’s estimates are much higher than those of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. However, the panel warned that infections could increase if social distance and masks are not taken into account.
