Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been the center of Bihar politics for the past 40 years. As the Chief Minister, Nitish has taken historic steps to ban alcohol in Bihar. He started politics with RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav. Nitish has been with the BJP since 2009. However, in 2015, he joined hands with the RJD to form the government. However, within a year and a half, his fascination had waned and he withdrew from the mahament and rejoined the BJP. Nitish Kumar, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly for the first time in 195, has already been sworn in as Chief Minister four times and will be sworn in as the Chief Minister for the seventh time tomorrow. The sustainability of Nitish’s tenure is questionable Patan: With the election of the NDA legislative party leader in Bihar, Nitish Kumar is set to be sworn in as chief minister again. Although the BJP won more seats, it has agreed to make Nitish the chief minister by keeping its previous promises. But the question now is how long Nitish will be the chief minister. Earlier, Nitish Kumar had twice won the Bihar Chief Minister’s seat with fewer seats than his allies. In 2000, the BJP won more seats than Nitish’s party. Even then, Nitish was sworn in as chief minister. But the government collapsed as the Ment failed to win a majority. At that time, Nitish was the Chief Minister for only four days. After that, Nitish led the NDA in Bihar until 2015. But later he joined hands with Lalu Yadav’s team RJD. Five years ago, the JDU won 41 seats, while the RJD won 40 seats. During this time, Nitish became the Chief Minister of Bihar for the second time. But later Nitish withdrew from the mahament and joined the NDA. Nitish has twice completed his term as a junior partner in the ruling party. There has been speculation as to whether Nitish could complete his term as chief minister.
