NEW DELHI: Meetings of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, some rebels and other senior leaders of 23 factions began on Saturday to end party feuds and strengthen the organization.The party is gearing up for radical change and internal elections. And Annada Sharma has arrived at the residence of the party’s leader in 10 Janpaths to attend today’s meeting. In addition, former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor, Manish Tiwari, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, executive Punjab Congress general secretary Harish Rawat and party internal treasurer Pawan Kumar Bansal have also visited Gandhi’s residence. Nath, senior leaders Ambika Soni, Eke Anthony and P Chidambaram are also attending the meeting. “As the party loses the by-elections and the Rajasthan rural elections, Sonia wants to end the crisis immediately and take steps to strengthen the organization,” said a Congress executive.
