Nayagarh: Two BJP activists have been arrested in connection with the attack on a journalist in Nayagarh. The two are Deepak Kumar Dalbehera and Anil Kumar Raut. This was stated by the Additional SP at a press conference. Notably, the BJP’s Justice Party for Fairy reached Jadupur village last evening. Crowds of media representatives gathered there to cover the news. Anuj Kumar Das, a representative of the electronic media from Bhubaneswar, and cameraman Vishnuprasad Tarasia were allegedly attacked at the time. Mr. Das lodged a complaint with the Nayagarh Sadar Police Station. Journalists and ordinary people of Nayagarh blocked the road at Nayagarh traffic intersection in protest of the arrest of the attackers. Anuj alleged that BJP workers attacked him as he was dissatisfied with the news coverage. Deepak Dalbehera of Balugaon, Badal Pradhan of Nayagarh Town, Anuj and the cameraman were first accused of verbally abusing him. Botra’s broker looked at how much money had been sold. The sarpanch threatened Soumya and Lala’s brother not to recognize him. Anuj alleged that the two men and their accomplices had come and attacked us. Anuj and the cameraman later arrived at the district general hospital for treatment.
