Bhandaripokhari: An unfortunate incident has taken place in Bhandaripokhari area of Bhadrak district. Here my mother died in her granddaughter’s Hemdasta mud. The incident took place in Napang village under Bhandaripokhari police station. On hearing the news, Bhandaripokhari police arrived at the spot and conducted a manhunt. He then attacked her with a machete lying next to her granddaughter. My mother died at the scene. The plaintiff’s granddaughter herself acknowledged the incident. Bhandaripokhari police have reportedly arrested the granddaughter.
