New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the chief ministers of various states are likely to be vaccinated in the country’s second phase of the vaccination campaign against Kovid-18, sources said. “Individuals over the age of 50 will be vaccinated in India’s second phase of vaccination,” Modi said at a meeting. All MPs and legislators over the age of 50 will be vaccinated in the campaign. Health workers and others directly involved in the fight have been given the first dose of the Covid-16 vaccine. The vaccines they took were “Kovisil6” manufactured by “Sirma Institute of India” and “Kovaxin” manufactured by India Biotech. “The second dose will be given 24 days after the first dose,” said Dr. Harsh Bardhan, Union Health Minister. The virus has plagued the world since last year, but it has raised eyebrows in 2021.
