The whole of West Odisha is now in full swing for Nuakhai, the great agricultural festival on Thursday. Earlier, Samleswari’s Peetha was fixed by the pundits. After this, the festive mood started in the area. Everyone was seen busy cleaning the house or shopping. After offering the first harvest of the farmers to the goddess Istdevi, everyone eats the bread of their families. But among all these, there are many difficulties for the people who spend their lives in railway stations, bus stands, night shelters. As the hotels are closed for Nuakhai festival, they are not even able to eat on that day. In view of this, since last year, the well-known doctors of Bargarh, Sushmita Das and Dr. Rajesh Tripathi, decided to celebrate Nuakhai with the homeless at their homes. He has created a special example by organizing this program this year as well. They said that all the preparations for this were done many days ago. After eating with the homeless, the doctor couple promoted them all through Uttariya. The inmates living in the asylum who were persecuted by their families were seen to be emotional while having a meal with the doctor’s family.
