AuAurangabad: Maharashtra BJP is in for a shock today (Tuesday). One of the senior BJP leaders and former Union Minister Jayasinghe Gaikwad resigned from the party today. He sent his resignation letter to Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil this morning. In a letter to Chandrakant Patil, he said he had resigned from the state BJP unit and the party’s primary membership. “I want to work for the party, but the party does not give me a chance, so I have taken this step,” former Union Minister Jayasinghe Gaikwad told reporters. The veteran BJP leader said he had previously served as a minister in Maharashtra. I do not want to be a Member of Parliament or a Member of the Legislature right now. I want to work to strengthen the team at the organizational level and I have been asking for this responsibility for a decade. “However, the team did not give me a chance to do so,” he said. He also complained that the party did not want those who had tried to strengthen the party in the state.
