Bhubaneswar: The results of the Baleshwar and Tirthol by-elections have gone in favor of the BJP. In Tirthol, the BJD maintained its dominance, while the Balasore seat was snatched from the BJP. Officials at the BJP state office celebrated the occasion this evening after the results were announced. The BJD office was shaken by the Naveen Patnaik Zindabad slogan. Everyone was seen dancing sweetly to each other. Some BJP legislators also came to the office and joined the workers. No senior leaders or officials were seen at the office.
