Bhubaneswar: The issue of ‘fairy’ has resurfaced today. Opposition groups called for a boycott of the assembly, which was adjourned until 3 p.m. Congress legislator Narasimha Mishra raised the issue of ‘fairies’. He demanded clarification on the SIT investigation. He said Bachchupati had asked the home minister to make statements on four fronts. The home minister answered only one, and three did not. He did not even comment on the allegations. In addition, Narasimha Mishra reiterated the demand for the formation of an SIT under the auspices of the High Court and the resignation of the minister. There are different interpretations of the SIT investigation. He also asked the government to clarify the SIT probe, as well as BJP members who protested by displaying banners in the house. The BJP had demanded the expulsion of Minister Arun Sahu on the issue of fairies. Opposition leader Pradeep Nayak demanded that the CBI investigate the incident and questioned the transparency of the SIT probe. Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vikram Arukh has made a clear statement on the SIT investigation. “The SIT will be notified immediately in the event of the death of the fairy and the SIT will be issued soon under the auspices of the court,” he said.
