Bhubaneswar: 2,500 to 3,000 people are being tested in the capital every day. Of these, 10%, or 250 to 300 people, receive positive reports daily. In the current trend, about 10% of the total test results in the capital are positive. But the next 1 month is important to us. The BMC predicts that the number of victims in the capital will increase.

BMC Commissioner Premchandra Chowdhury told the media today that the capital now has a crown on its head. It will take a few days to reach the top. So now the number of victims will continue to rise. By August 31, the number of active cases in the capital will reach 3,729. It will touch 5,000 by September 15. The next month is very important. We have to move through difficult situations. So we have to walk carefully for another month. Wearing masks, keeping social distance and washing hands thoroughly when leaving the house. Adhering to this, we can lose the crown. The BMC commissioner’s prediction suggests that there is no question of a decrease in corona in the capital. Although there are now 300 or more cases a day, there are more than 400 cases a day. To date, a total of 4,015 cases of coronary heart disease have been reported in the capital, of which 2,956 are active cases. 4,217 have recovered. Currently, 36.25% of all cases are active. As the number of victims increases, so will the number of active cases. As of August 31, the BMC had said it had 3,824 active cases, but it is estimated to be around 3,600. As of September 15, the total number of victims in Bhubaneswar could reach 18,000. But the BMC estimates that the total number of victims will reach 18,000 to 15,000. Of these, 5,000 will be active cases. The BMC said the number of active cases would touch 5,000, but now there are 4,151 beds in the capital. BMC also has an innovative plan for so many survivors. As many as 50% of those affected will continue to be at home. As there are now no signs of infection in Bhubaneswar, there are no plans to take them to Kovidh Hospital or Kovidh Care Center. As the number of victims rises, BMC plans to keep it at home and treat it with the Rapid Response Team 4.
