Its features are slightly different from other apps, with people chatting and video calling through the app. But from today you can send money on WhatsApp with chat and video calls. The National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) on Thursday approved WhatsApp. WhatsApp payments will be available in ten regional languages of India. If you already have a payment option on your WhatsApp app, you can use it. If not, you can get the payment option by updating the WhatsApp app Customers need to have a debit card to support WhatsApp to use WhatsApp payments. You can activate it by going to the WhatsApp app payment option by selecting the bank and entering the details. The WhatsApp app has partnered with five major banks for payment services. These include ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, SBI and Geo Payment Bank. It is also possible to send money to users who do not use WhatsApp payments through WhatsApp payments. Ajit Mohan, head of Facebook India, said, “Payments have been made live on the WhatsApp app in India and people can send money through the WhatsApp app from today. This money transfer feature of WhatsApp will be as easy as sending messages.
