From Bengaluru: The US-based Walmart will be phoned from Flipkart. It will move forward alone. Flipkart has decided to separate it from its own after facing various problems in raising funds for its own growth. So it will not be completely different. There will be coordination between the two companies. Flipkart will be the largest shareholder in the phone. But it will be governed by a new board. The board of Flipkart will not decide on the phone. It will raise funds from the market through special boards. Organizations like Walmart and Tiger Global, which have invested in Flipkart, have promised to fund Phoneppe. Over the course of its four-year journey, the phone has reached 25 million users. It wants to reach 50 crore people by December 2022. That requires a huge amount of funding. To add to that, PhonePe has become a unique company.
