Barangay / Trishulia: The Special Excise Department today arrested two people on suspicion of selling brown sugar from Barangay Canal Square. The accused are Prashant Behera, 43, of Belgachia village and Santosh Behera, 37, of Padasahi village, Nandankanan police station. A total of 165 grams of brown sugar and a Pulsar bike (OR4 BT-543) were seized from them. The market value of the seized white jewelery is estimated to be more than Rs 18 lakh. Special IIC Jagadish Chandra Samal of Cuttack Abkari Department raided the house after receiving information that they had been involved in the business for a long time.
