BALESWAR: The BJD camp is in turmoil over the Balasore Sadar constituency by-election. Today, party organizing secretary and MLA Pranab Prakash Das (Bobby) paid a surprise visit to Balasore and held closed-door talks with District President and former MP Rabindra Kumar Jena and former Sadar MLA Jeevan Pradeep Das at Circuit House. Pranab, who has been in talks with both leaders for more than an hour, has been the subject of much speculation in the political arena.According to sources, Pranab reached Baileshwar around 12 noon on Sunday and went straight to the Circuit House. Shortly afterwards, Mr. Jenna, a former MP, arrived. Former MLA Jeevanpradeep Das arrived there after a lengthy discussion. The three leaders met from 3 to 4 p.m. Then everyone came out and Pranab got in the car and left. Pranab’s closed-door talks have sparked controversy in the political arena amid controversy over the by-elections.
