Bhubaneswar: The BJP has been recognized as the main opposition party in Odisha after a long political battle. In the last 2014 Lok Sabha elections, nearly 1 crore votes were in favor of the BJP. Eleven MLAs from 33 Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes have been elected to the Legislative Assembly.
