NEW DELHI: At least three people have been killed and three others injured in a landslide in Tamil Nadu on Thursday morning when a typhoon entered the Nivar area. Many trees and power poles have been uprooted in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu due to the storm. Tamil Nadu Additional Secretary Atulya Mishra said three people were killed and three others were injured. 101 huts have been demolished and 380 uprooted trees have been removed. Essential services have been fully restored. Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to the Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and promised to provide all possible assistance from the Center.
