The state government of Odisha will distribute houses to people in the new year. The Panchayati Raj Department will provide pucca houses to 10 lakh beneficiaries of the state. Panchayati Raj Minister Ravi Narayan Naik gave information in this regard today. He said that the government will distribute pucca houses in this January. 37 lakh beneficiaries have applied for Pradhan Mantri Awas.
Every eligible person will benefit from this scheme
Panchayati Raj Minister Ravi Narayan Naik said that the government is committed to providing pucca houses to poor and landless families. As a part of Anthoday Griha Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, we will ensure that every eligible person will benefit from this scheme.
It is worth noting that the government has set a target to provide pucca houses to about 22 lakh beneficiaries of the state. Those who have been deprived of registration under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be included under the Anthoday Griha Yojana. In addition, financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand will be provided for the construction of houses.
