India’s tour of Zimbabwe begins with a win. India won the first one-day match played at Harare Sports Club by 10 wickets. Chasing the target of 190 runs, two openers Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill scored 81 runs and the team achieved the victory in 30.5 overs. With this win, India became the first team to achieve two 10-wicket wins in a year.
While skipper Rahul Bowling won the toss, Deepak Chahar and Mohammed Siraj destroyed the Zimbabwean top order. The home team lost 4 wickets for 31 runs and 5 wickets for 66 runs due to the deadly bowling of both of them. In such a situation, there was concern about the team crossing 150 runs. On behalf of India, Deepak Chahar, famous Krishna and Akshar Patel took three wickets each while Mohammad Siraj took one wicket.
